Kizilelma is designed around carrier compatibility with the Turkish Navy's TCG Anadolu, a light carrier converted from an amphibious assault ship, creating a combined carrier-capable stealth UCAV capability unprecedented for a country Turkey's size. The aircraft's jet propulsion and stealth shaping represent a dramatic leap from Turkey's previous propeller-driven UAV experience, reflecting the depth of capability Baykar has developed.
