Description

US military initiative to connect sensors and shooters across all domains via AI-enabled network, enabling autonomous battlespace management at machine speed.

JADC2 aims to eliminate the seams between military service networks that allow adversaries to exploit gaps in the kill chain. The program envisions an AI-enabled mesh network where a sensor in any domain automatically cues the optimal shooter in any other domain within seconds. Multiple component programs including Project Overmatch for the Navy and ABMS for the Air Force are developing individual pieces of this architecture with planned integration exercises.

Notable Use

Multiple component programs (ABMS, Project Overmatch) in testing; demonstrated cross-domain kill chains in exercises

Investment Implications

Leidos (LDOS), Northrop Grumman (NOC), and Raytheon (RTX) are the primary JADC2 contractors. Palantir (PLTR) is pursuing JADC2 contracts aggressively as its primary government revenue growth driver.
