The Marker platform uses a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system that allows silent electric operation for covert missions and diesel operation for extended range. Its AI perception system is designed to handle the specific challenges of Eastern European terrain including mixed forest, urban, and agricultural environments common to potential conflict areas. Russian developers have demonstrated Marker operating in coordinated teams with aerial drones, with the UGV and UAVs sharing a common AI situational awareness picture.
