STM Alpagu is designed for single-operator employment with a simple interface that allows a soldier to designate a target area and have the munition autonomously select and engage the highest-priority target within it. Its fixed-wing configuration provides longer range and higher speed than rotary-wing alternatives like KARGU-2 at similar payload. Swarm demonstrations with multiple Alpagu units coordinating simultaneous attacks on a distributed target set have validated Turkey's autonomous swarm warfare concepts.
