Warmate

Autonomous Drone
DEPLOYED

Description

Loitering munition with electro-optical guidance for anti-armor and anti-personnel strike. Features autonomous waypoint navigation and operator-selectable autonomous terminal attack.

Warmate's electro-optical seeker enables it to autonomously track and engage targets that attempt to evade by moving after the munition has been launched. Its anti-armor warhead uses a shaped charge designed to penetrate the roof armor of main battle tanks, where protection is typically weaker than frontal armor. Ukraine's extensive use of Warmate against Russian armor since 2022 has provided WB Electronics with real combat data that has been used to improve the seeker's target discrimination algorithms.

Notable Use

Polish Army procurement; supplied to Ukraine 2022; confirmed use against Russian armor
