Spike NLOS (AI-Guided)

IL — Rafael Advanced Defense Systems
AI Targeting
DEPLOYED
2004

Description

Long-range fire-and-forget missile with AI-enhanced image processing for autonomous target recognition. Can lock onto and engage targets beyond line of sight without continuous operator guidance.

The Spike NLOS missile family has effective ranges exceeding 25 kilometers in its most advanced configurations, enabling helicopter and ground-launched strikes from well beyond counter-battery radar range. Its AI seeker uses a database of target profiles to autonomously classify and prioritize vehicles during the terminal phase, reducing operator decision time. The system has been combat-proven in multiple conflicts and is one of the most capable fire-and-forget anti-armor weapons in service.

Notable Use

Used by IDF in Gaza and Lebanon; supplied to US, Germany, Poland, and others
