Description

Autonomous underwater vehicle used for mine countermeasures, ISR, and payload delivery. AI-enhanced navigation enables fully autonomous mine hunting and seabed mapping.

REMUS 600 uses a REMUS-architecture modular payload bay that can be reconfigured in the field for different mission profiles including mine countermeasures, SIGINT collection, and obstacle mapping. Its AI navigation system enables it to operate autonomously in magnetically influenced environments near the seabed where GPS signals are unavailable. The platform has logged thousands of operational hours across multiple US Navy deployments and has become the baseline UUV for allied navies participating in joint mine warfare exercises.

Notable Use

Deployed by US Navy in Persian Gulf mine-hunting; used in Ukraine conflict port defense
